STUDIO IV: Project II

DESIGN TEAM: Ally Coyle + Dalton Scott

DURATION: 5 weeks

SKILLS UTILIZED: Revit, Lumion, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom

We chose to transform the Toys-R-Us into a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel experience. This type of hotel will cater to the needs of Millennial urban explorers and young professionals who value unique experiences that won’t compromise their ability to take advantage of everything Tallahassee has to offer. We propose a space program that includes guest rooms as well as common areas such as a lobby, a restaurant/bar, a patio space, and a pool.  The new micro-hotel will offer luxurious amenities for the cost-conscious consumer while boosting the local economy of Tallahassee both by generating income and creating jobs for residents of the city.
